Advice - 2015 Fotuner 3.0 d4d auto (4x2)

HI Guys,

I am in the process of buying a 2015 Fortuner 3.0 d4d auto (4x2). it has 93000km full service history. I finally feel that I have found the vehicle I want.

So questions before I sign on the dotted line are...

Fuel consumption, do I need to be concerned (inner city driving?)
Should I get a service and or warranty plan or both?
WHat should I be looking out for?

Any advice is welcomed.

Hi Darren

I have a 4x4 auto D4D, just driving in town, 8km (1h of driving) to work I get 7km/l.
I also bought my FT and started paying for the services myself at the dealership. For me it''s acceptable compared to what I used to pay for LD. Did some calculation on what it would cost to add the service plan and was not worth it. In my case I only service the FT once a year or 10K kms.
If you do a lot of traveling and the service is 2-3 times a year then it might be worth it.
I had very good service from the Toyota dealership and that made me buy it. I will most likely not buy a vehicle from another car dealership if it's not Toyota.

Till now I haven't had any problems with the FT.
