Fortuner 2.8 GD-6 2x4 Rear wheel mouldings

Hi, I am relatively new to the forum and I am not sure whether this topic has been addressed before.
I would like to know if the vehicle originally comes with these and if not can they be purchased and fitted DIY?
My Prado and Amarok had these. Mine is a 2016 model and it is without these moulded wheel arch protectors. All I see is a white rubberised type of product on the inside of arch and in my opinion, it looks unfinished. Colour of my vehicle is white. I would appreciate suggestions to solve this.
Many thanks,
jlo

are you talking about the rubberising inside the arch?

if i think you are talking about the same thing, mine is also unfinished , just enough to cover the welded joints.

Yes, I think they skimped on this. The front has them why not the rear wheels? If all fails I will bitumen mine black. I'm sure that would look better. Just not sure if the dirt will stick to it. Any advice on this anyone please!

Spanjaard Bitumen Primer

An aerosol liquid bitumen solution designed to penetrate and seal porous surfaces, protects bare metal surfaces from corrosion and act as an industrial waterproofing agent.

this might work?
