AMADA's

Hallo manne, laat weet sodra julle die "upgrade" gedoen het as ASB . . .

DJ, ander coils sal beslis nie jou FT laat sagter ry nie! Sal my kop op n blok sit!

Darryl @ Mikem will sort you out!

I fitted Bilsteins and progressive coils, he also has other coils depending on your needs.

Hi Wayne have you fitted the Bilsteins and coils. If you did how is your ride.

suspension

good day

a quick question and all opinions are welcome

I am looking to upgrade my suspension a bit and have heard that a good upgrade which is suited for offroad driving (not 4x4,just gravel road) is a camil set for the front and Monroe heavy duty shocks for the rear.

how do you guys rate camil?

I'm running a Camil and Monroe combination on my other 4x4. I can tell you it's well worth it in a bakkie with torsion bars and leaf springs.

But it is no way near the correct suspension for the Fortuner at all. All the camil offers is a lift.

Unfortunately there is no easy away around suspension on a fortuner, I done it cheaply and had failed shocks within 8 000km. It's not worth it. Rather save up and get something decent.

Mikem Suspension Upgrade

I had my suspension upgraded by Mikem last week - wow super impressed. Went for progressive coils and Bilstein shocks for a lift of 50mm. What a massive improvement - naturally the vehicle stands higher, which looks cool. But, there is a huge improvement in the rebound rate, with familiar road imperfections being dealt with so much more composure now. Despite the increase in height, body roll is reduced.
The team at Mikem were totally professional and checking and ensuring that the setup would meet my challenging requirements.

Thanks Mikem
