Speaker size

Hi

I thinking of replacing the standard Fortuner 2013 speakers. I've had enough of the below average sound of the standard speakers.

I know there are six speakers
- two in the front plus tweeters
- four in the rear.

Without opening the panels - I'm hoping someone knows what speakers sizes can I replace them with. (Don't want to add an amp as well). I don't want to do too much work - so I want to replace with a similar size speaker - something like a JBL.

Hoping someone can help.

It is a 6.5 speaker but you will have to make some spacers and cut wires to fit a generic 6.5 speaker, not sure about the tweeter. The Focal IS 165TOY speakers are straight plug and play but are a tad expensive :)

BTW, speakers alone will only make a small difference. Sound insulation of doors will also help a lot, even with the standard speakers if you do not intend on getting an amp.
