Yea so expensive! I want to know if its worthwhile, I heard somewhere that the front diff is not that strong and braeks easy with the diff lock.

Just recently had to have the bearings in the front diff replaced so i wouldn't touch it.

The Tunas are good enough as they are. We wouldn't want to hurt the Rubicon guys feelings. :spiteful:

True, the Fortuner does not really need it. It would actually make things to easy lol

What is the weak part of the front diff, the actual diff or the cv joints? ?(

Can this (the weak part) be strengthened? :?:

Does not need it.... MMmmmmmm.... its the same argument sometimes when we discuss performance chips and exhausts, there will always be a few guys that feel dont need it... but its all about vehicle application,
But one need to be very clear why you would you consider a front locker... I would personally love a front locker as some of the obstacles I drive will my tuna... are very extreme and a front locker will help.. although it must then be a vacuum of electric locker, as a auto locker on the all wheel drive system dont think would be ideal.
Let me get a few prices...
