Rear squeak

Hi guys. I have a 2.8GD6 4X4. I'm currently doing 25000km but from new I've always had a squeak from the rear suspension or somewhere there. When I go over speed humps or hook a trailer on it gets more frequent on lower bumps I assume it is suspension as when I'm in 4 hi. The suspension is load being and automatic vehicle and every little movement causes a squeak.
I brought it up twice at Toyota and they simply tighten the suspension bolts and say it's sorted.

Any advice or solutions.

Hi Mahesh,

You have quite a new Tuna, have you changed the suspension at all?

Hi guys. No. Haven't touched the suspension at all. I felt I should isolate this issue before I do any suspension changes

My vehicle has been altered and has squeeked ever since SAC in Centurion installed new shocks. Since then it has been everywhere, all the local Toyotas (perhaps the worst at findng problems) and 4x4 shops. It has cost me money and never been solved.....until I went to Cobus at Amada who has solved every issue so far. Handling is better, squeeks gone and generally quite simple problems that I am amazed all these other big boys couldnt solve and that Cobus solved in minutes. The last trip to Toyota saw them stripping it, tightening bolts and saying it was fine, but it started squeaking on the test ride. They said it was normal.

I know where I would go and he will sort some new bits for you.

I had this with a 2013 model. One of the rear coil springs was seated slightly crooked, and when loaded or compressed it would rub against the side of the cup that it sits in (bottom). I jacked the car up, rotated the spring to straighten it up and problem solved.
