brake 3.0 4x4

Hi guys, Im new to this forum. I have a fortuner 3.0 auto 4x4 2008 model. I bought it 2nd hand (not brand new). I have also driven my brothers Fortuner 2014 2.5. I noticed that the brakes in 2014 model is much responsive (not sure of the right term) than my 2008 model. When driving the 2014 a light step on the brake pedal immediately slows down the car even at high speed (100kph) but with my 2008 i need to step hard and deep to slow down the car but still not slowing immediately. Even if the brake pads of my 2008 was newly replaced. Is there a problem with my brake? Any suggestion would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Your car has a problem. Fix it quickly.

I have a 2008 4-4 d4D and the brakes are highly responsive at all speeds, including when towing my heavy off road caravan.

Consider fitting Powerbrake - excellent product.

Bleed the brakes through.

Also, keep in mind that different brake discs and pads and the combination thereof can result in different brake feel/bite.

The Powerbrake stuff is tops.

I replaced mine with ATE discs and pads and I'm very happy

i installed the powerbrake slotted disks and bendix pads on my 2014 fortuner, and they are really awesome. day and night from the standard toyota disks and pads.
