Unexplained phenomenon

Middag ladies and gents.
I am new to the site and hope to pick the combined brains of the members.
I drive a 2012 3.0 d4d fortuner.
Driving home on saturday night I had a strange occurence.
Conditions were wet but had not been wading through deep water.
Brights on and heater running due to first cold weather in lowveld.
Dashboard lights sart flicking off and on repeatedly, headlights blinking slightly and radio switched off and on.
While lights and radio flicker i can hear what sounds like a relay clicking on and off.
I switced off heater as this is the only thing that had not been used for a while.
Second time lights, dash and radio start flicking off and on (repeatedly) i switced brights to dims and proceeded to lose dash lights and dials completelyfor a few seconds as if ignition was switced off and fan came on by itself at full blast.
Durning this whole time the engine never lost any physical power.
Made it all the way home and tried to replicate problem but it would not happen again.
Any ideas would be highly appreciated.
Thank you. Dankie

Stekel

Hi Stekel.
No all the terminals are nice and tight.
