Wise quotes

Hi lets see what this list grows to.

An old Oom told me once "You young poeple are to hastey" and his tips to me was:

1. Select the right gear for each obsticle before you enter it.
"And my favorit one"
2. Go as slow as possible but as fast as necessary.

Oom's dont you just love them. :nono:

So right there: I would ad "Remember ... through his actions every man choose the way he is going to die!" not that I consider myself a old oom. :D

Another wise one: "los die dop vir na die laaste obstacle - behalwe as jy die side-shaft afgery het".

The earth does not belong to man; man belongs to the earth. This we know.
All things are connected like the blood which unites one family.
Whatever befalls the earth befalls the sons of the earth.
Man did not weave the web of life: he is merely a strand in it.
Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself".
