Selebi phikwe - the hunt for the BIG OL BASS

Guys we are planning a trip up to letsibogo from the 24th september to 29th september. Last year we took the zanzibar border post. Is there another shorter route from jhb?

Also if i do have to take the zanzibar way, theres ALOT of dirt road on the south africa side. Is it wise to tackle it without side steps? Last year we drove at speeds of upto 120kmh on those gravel roads.

Last one, u know u get those black wraps the guys put on their Gti bonnets and stuff? Could that help with stone chips if u put it under the door where the side steps are supposd to be?

Okay, im done!

I would rather get side step or real steel rock slider, plastic wrap won`t stop the rocks.

Yaaseen
If you do 120kph on a gravel road you should worry about your safety and not about chips.
